Q: What are the safety measures being taken for Blocktoberfest?
The Glenview Police Department will be providing extra layers of security by deploying additional officers in key locations. They will also be working with public works to provide crowd and traffic control support.

Q: What is the price of Blocktoberfest?
General admission is free.

Q: Will there be food and drink available for purchase?
There will be a wonderful variety of foods, soft drinks, beer and wine for sale from some of your Glenview favorites.

Q: Are there any COVID-19 restrictions?
We support local and CDC guidance. Masks are not required for those fully vaccinated.

Q: Do I need a wristband?
Only if you are consuming alcohol. Anyone purchasing tickets for beer and wine will need to show an ID and wear a wristband.

Q: Do you accept credit cards?
Credit cards and cash are accepted for beer/wine ticket purchases and food vendors.

Q: Are kids allowed?
Of course! It’s Glenview after all. Children 18 and under are allowed at all times, except after 8pm in the VIP area. You won’t want to miss our great family fun area with loads of great activities: performances, games, crafts, face painting and balloon artists will be on hand from 11am-3pm.

Q: What is included in VIP admission?
Exclusive Lounge area, VIP trailer bathrooms, VIP stage viewing area, VIP stainless steel Blocktoberfest cup, VIP beer tent access, curated food, wine and beverage tastings from Coarse Italian, Chicago Wine, Babs Boards, Pappi’s Pizza famous pizzasalad, Bubbles & Straws and much more… The price for VIP admission is $100 for adults and $20 for children.

Q: Can we go in and out of the fest grounds?
Yes, you will be able to enter and re-enter.

Q: Can we bring coolers?
Coolers and outside food and beverage are not permitted. Food and beverages are available for purchase.

Q: What if it rains?
The event is rain or shine unless there is dangerous weather.

Q: How do I get to Blocktoberfest?
We encourage people to take Metra, ride bikes, walk or take a ride share to the festival. We suggest ride share pick-ups on the east side at 1746 Glenview Rd. (Jimmy John’s) and to the west at 1880 Glenview Rd. or 980 Harlem Ave is at Olympia Square Dunkin.

Q: What Metra train should I take to Blocktoberfest?

Q: Are bikes allowed in the fest?
Please park bikes by the Metra Train Station (see previous). Strollers and wagons are welcome in the fest. No bikes, rollerblades or scooters inside the fest please.

Q: Where can I park?
The Metra lot is open to the north and south of Glenview, RD. Parking will also be available after 6pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (you can access the lot from Grove or Glenview Rd. but NOT from Church St).

Q: Is there handicapped parking in the area?
There are a number of handicap accessible parking spaces at the Metra lot on N. Harlem across from Jackman Park.

Q: Can I bring my dog to the festival?
We love fur babies, but only service dogs are allowed.

Q: Can I bring a folding chair?
No, we will have chairs available.

Q: How long will Glenview Rd. be closed?
Glenview Rd will be closed from 7 am to midnight. Follow posted detour signs.

Q: Can I get involved?
